Mike Larkin Ph.D.

President, Ignite Academy International

We are living in a very exciting but challenging time in our world’s history.  Some would say every generation has had its challenging times.  But THIS emerging generation is something special, something different for a new time, a time such as this.   My passion and personal calling is to ignite this next generation of leaders for the local and global church and for their local community with a hunger to love and serve Christ, to know His Word and to walk in His Spirit. This opportunity to partner with our Foursquare leadership, local churches, local community programs, Life Pacific and other Colleges and the young people of God’s kingdom is historic and certainly for a time such as this.  Be watching as we expand and launch the Ignite Academy on our new campus at CrossPointe in Christiansburg, Virginia this Fall of 2011.   And until then, get those applications in.  As of July 21st there are only 10 spaces left.

Roxanne Larkin

Roxanne Larkin, along with her husband Mike, served in college age, young adult ministry for over 15 years.  She has worked tirelessly with Mike in establishing the Ignite Academy while also being mom to two children at home and two away at college.  Roxanne serves Ignite as Student Services Coordinator, interfacing Ignite campus operations with CrossPointe leaders and the Registrar/Admissions offices at LIFE Pacific College.  Roxanne is most likely the first point of contact a prospective student (or their parent) will have with Ignite in answering all of their questions. Getting through the enrollment process is a breeze with Roxanne giving assistance.

Rebecca Bauer

Rebecca Bauer has served in ministry for 30 years—as a pastor, as a professor, and as an author. She currently teaches at the Ignite Academy and at The King’s College and Seminary. Her theological training is from Life Bible College (1979), and Regent University (2002). Rebecca is also “mom” to three grown children, and “gramma” to eight! The driving passion of Rebecca’s life is to see people integrate what they believe into their everyday lives. “After all,” she says, “if you can’t take your theology home, what’s the point?” In her spare time, Rebecca likes going to the beach, watching old movies, and painting.

For fun, Melissa likes to watch movies, spend time with her family, and go to Disneyland.
